By creating an account or using Weft Screener, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Weft Screener is a free financial data screening tool that displays data sourced from SEC EDGAR filings. The service includes a stock screener, company analysis pages, and user account features (saved screens, watchlists, custom formulas). There are currently no paid plans or premium features.

3. Not Financial Advice

Weft Screener does not provide investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. All content on this site is for informational and educational purposes only. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner.

4. Accuracy of Data

Financial data is sourced from SEC EDGAR filings and may contain errors, be delayed, or be incomplete. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Always verify data against primary sources before making decisions.

5. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You must provide a valid email address and create a password of at least 8 characters.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may delete your account at any time from the user menu, which permanently removes all your data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data beyond normal usage patterns.
• Resell or redistribute data obtained from the service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or create security risks for the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe violations.

8. Intellectual Property

The Weft Screener application, including its design, code, and branding, is our property. SEC EDGAR data is public domain. Your user-created content (screens, watchlists, formulas) remains yours and you can export it at any time.

9. Advertising

Weft Screener displays advertisements via Google AdSense to support the free service. By using the site, you acknowledge that ads may be displayed. If you consent to advertising cookies, ads may be personalized based on your browsing activity. You can manage your ad preferences via the cookie consent banner or at Google Ads Settings. Ad content is provided by third parties and we are not responsible for advertised products or services.

10. Limitation of Liability

Weft Screener is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or costs arising from your use of the service or reliance on data provided. This includes, but is not limited to, investment losses based on data displayed by the service.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to registered users.
